· before using for the first time, wash the inside of the item with care, grease evenly with a little oil and dry with some kitchen towel or a soft cloth
· always cook over a moderate heat, and never overheat the item when empty
· do not use abrasive powders and/or scourers to clean the item. It is sufficient to use hot water and a tiny amount of mild detergent
